Welcome

Welcome to our website. We are proud to have the opportunity to care  for the children in the community. Finding the right care for your child should give you a sense of comfort and confidence knowing that your child's well-being and development is the top priority.

 Houma First United Methodist Preschool

(H.M.P), The Early Years and Pre-Kindergarten was organized to provide a Christian atmosphere for the play and development of infants 6 weeks to age 5. We think that through play, children develop social skills, strengthen their physical skills, absorb and utilize new information, and to explore their creativity. Our program is structured to allow for this important playtime, while providing activities for development of the "total child". To this, our teachers add a variety of positive experiences, activities appropriate to this age group and information about the child's world around him that are necessary for his total development.

This site was designed for parents. If there is anything else we can do for you, please let us know.

Our Goal

Our Goal is to help the

children develop through a warm, loving atmosphere where they will emerge with

a positive self-concept and a good feeling about school. We also hope to lay a foundation for children in our care to one day become capable, lovable, caring, responsible adults.
